We received a lot of great feedback from participants at the IGBR Fall Conference in Anaheim/Disneyland. We welcomed many new-comers to the IGBR family and caught up with old friends as well. Many participants brought their families and took advantage of having the Magic Kingdom next door to the hotel. Several of the participants expressed interest in returning to this venue again next October, so we will be exploring that option in the coming weeks. Everyone at the conference was very excited to hear that IGBR is hosting our Spring Conference in Nashville (April 9-12, 2025). Please check out our conference call page for details.
We all enjoyed the awards banquet where we socialized over a delicious meal and celebrated the Distinguished Research Award winners. Also announced at the banquet was the official passing of the IGBR torch from outgoing President, Dr. Laurent Josien, to incoming President, Dr. Julio Rivas. We greatly appreciate Dr. Josien’s service as IGBR President over the last few years and look forward to the next few years with President Rivas at the helm!
We would also like to congratulate the Distinguished Research Award winners from the Anaheim conference. A lot of great papers were submitted, so your work is to be commended.
